HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Documented participation in foster care any time after 13th birthday
  • Current high school senior on track to receive diploma in 2025 OR high school graduate
  • Commitment to full-time study at a California State University, UC or accredited community college 
  • Minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 2.0 
  • Current resident of any of the following Northern & Central California Counties
  • Submission of FAFSA or CADAA application
  • Age: 17-26 years at time of application

  • FAFSA or CADAA Award Package Summary
  • Certified high school transcript
  • Dependency or verification letter from the court or child welfare agency 
  • Optional letter of recommendation from a teacher, school counselor or administrator, employer, CASA or social worker, ILP coordinator, etc.
